Your personal tax deductions are in addition to your standard deduction or any itemized deductions you may have. To claim these personal tax deductions you do not need to itemize your deductions nor use Form 1040. You can claim all these deductions on form 1040a.

Personal Exemptions Enter your name(s), address, social security number(s), and Date of Birth
Dependents Enter Name(s), Social Security Number(s), Relationship, Date of Birth, Number of months dependent lived with you.
Educator Expenses Enter amount from your personal receipts. Maximum deduction is $250 per qualified teacher
IRA Contributions Enter amount deposited by April 15, 2006 into your IRA account
Student Loan Interest Enter all information from form 1098-E box 1
Tuition + Fees Enter all information from form 1098-T box 1
Health Savings Account Information entered from W-2 box 12(R)
Alimony Payments Enter amount paid from personal records
Name and SSN of ex-spouse
Moving Expenses +Costs including lodging but not meals
+Miles from old home to old workplace and new workplace +See if costs reimbursed by employer on W-2 income
Employee Expenses Enter from your personal records, your total out-of-pocket expenses
Early Withdrawal Penalty Enter dollars from form 1099-INT in Box 2
