Refunds in your bank account in less than 10 days

Included in our price is the direct deposit of your refund into your checking or savings account, in less than 10 days.

Direct deposit of your refund works like the direct deposit of your wages or social security check. You enter your bank information in the online tax program. Within 24 - 48 hours, the IRS notifies you by e-mail that your return is accepted. Then, every Friday, the IRS sends refunds to each chosen bank account.

With direct deposit you get your refund in half the time as paper/snail mail filers; and there is no check to get lost in the mail or if you're in transition.

You can directly deposit your refund into your checking account, or savings account or at another financial institution (such as a mutual fund, brokerage firm, or credit union) in the United States. Otherwise, you will be sent a check in 30 days.

Some financial institutions will not allow a joint refund to be deposited into an individual account. If the direct deposit is rejected, a check will be sent instead.

Getting the Bank and Routing Numbers Correct

Obviously, inputting the correct bank information is critical to getting your refund in your account.

While the routing and account numbers may be in different places, for sake of illustration the following is given.

The routing number must be nine digits. The first two digits must be 01 through 12 or 21 through 32. Otherwise, the direct deposit will be rejected and a check sent instead. On the sample check shown below the routing number is 250250025.

The account number can be up to 17 characters (both numbers and letters). Enter the number from left to right. On the sample check above the account number is 20202086.

Do not include the check number.
